The course includes eight units; Engaging & Communicating with Young People, Safeguarding, Youth Work Theory, Young People’s Development, Reflective Practice, Work-based Practice, Working with Behaviour that Challenges, Group Work, & a varied selection of optional units, all reflecting the broad competencies needed for effective youth support.
